TALLER: "LIFE CHALLENGES WITH PERSISTENT NEONATAL REFLEXES IN ADULTS AND CHILDREN"
Bruno Chikly
Many children and adults have neurological disorders, learning disabilities, or cognitive challenges. Studies show these individuals often have retained reflexes or may have reoccurring neonatal reflexes. Optimally, these reflexes are inhibited/integrated in the first months of life.
Adults can also see the recurrence of these neonatal/developmental reflexes in many pathologies, including trauma, whiplash, PTSD, Parkinson's, stroke, dementia, etc.
Retained and reoccurring reflexes can create numerous neurological dysfunctions, learning disabilities, and sensory integration dysfunctions.
These reflexes impact posture, behavior, emotions, belief and spiritual belief in children as well as adults.
The importance of Neonatal reflexes is often overlooked, yet plays a hugely important role in our healthy physical, social, emotional, and mental development. Our development can be hindered by the unconscious relationship of parents and a baby in utero. Feelings of not being loved, wanted or seen can deeply set primary beliefs and patterns of survival that play out throughout our lives. This can affect our brains and physical structure.
Dr Chikly you will show you quick, specific, and efficient manual therapy techniques to inhibit these primary/infant reflexes.
