Mural painting

My work is based around an organic, abstract visual language which spans across different media (painting, pottery, illustration).

I took part in a local collective exhibition with local and international artists here in Vilcabamba, Loja, last October and my work can be seen here https://vilcarte.wixsite.com/exponerse/giuliasandri. I have a background in design, animation and music so that informs my relationship with space and its functions.

In my practice, a colourful and rhythmic visual language communicates between the cellular and the astral level, where vegetal and sky elements speak to the soul, with a mysterious and yet familiar and innocent voice.

The focus in on reviving what is alive deep down in conscience and awareness, and permeate everyday’s gestures as well as the deeper spiritual spaces where concept and visions, sound and tactile presence meet as one.
