I am a metis artist of Maliseet, Mi'qmaw and Algonquin descent.

Through my work, I explore notions of identity and territoriality. For the last 20 years, I have deepened my understanding of aboriginal and native culture in Canada and Australia and realize how similar our stories are.

Using plant base materials through painting, weaving and printing, and designing patterns, I am learning new ways to tell the story of my people and the territories where they lived and thrived.
