The mission of Ecuador's Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investment, and Fisheries is to promote an environment of sustainable economic development, encourage foreign investment, and strengthen foreign trade to contribute to the country's competitiveness and growth. Through public policies and specific programs, it promotes the diversification of national production, the improvement of product quality, and the opening of new international markets.
The Ministry also promotes sustainability and the responsible use of fishery resources, supporting artisanal and commercial fishing. This Ministry works hand in hand with other strategic sectors to create a favorable climate for entrepreneurship and investment in Ecuador.
