Talk
Rodrigo Solano
Spanish
Rodrigo Solano argues that education in schools and colleges has become anchored in traditional subjects, failing to address the diverse intelligence and comprehensive needs of children and young people. This approach has led to a deficient education system, which produces professionals who are competent in their fields, but who suffer from significant spiritual, emotional, nutritional, and life-enhancing gaps.
To address these gaps, it is proposed to expand the educational curriculum to include subjects and approaches such as:
Values and principles
Logic and Ethics - Spiritual Education - Emotional Education - Travel Education
Conscious sexual education - Environmental education, among others.
According to Solano, the transformation of education is a challenge for current and future generations, and is the only way to develop well-rounded individuals capable of facing the challenges of today's world with a solid foundation in diverse aspects of knowledge.
Rodrigo Solano is an agricultural engineer with an outstanding academic and professional career. He has completed six postgraduate degrees in various countries, including the United States, England, Spain, and Argentina.
After an extensive academic career, Rodrigo has settled in the city of Loja, where he puts his philosophy of promoting good living among his fellow citizens into practice through his professional service. His innovative and critical approach to education seeks to foster a transformation that responds to current needs and contributes to developing well-rounded individuals prepared for real life.
