The KAPAK group was created to promote musical creativity. We are convinced that Ecuadorian authors and composers can transcend borders and be world-class exponents of the folklore of our land, as well as the rhythms that exist throughout Latin America. The themes that we put forward for consideration by the public have seen the light based on the experiences and stories that we have had in the path of music. Therefore, we wish that these be a means of communication to transmit different forms of artistic and cultural expression seeking to penetrate the fabric of society as the art of music has always done, causing the spectator to listen to and experience our themes to transcend and become part of our background as Ecuadorians and Latin Americans. Our staging always seeks to strengthen the elements of our Andean culture with its rhythms and dances. We long for each presentation to remain as proof that Ecuadorian folklore lives and will continue to live in the minds, hearts and ears of those who lend us a moment. of their lives to appreciate the effort that goes into each musical note.
