Invitation to Artists

The Wellness Fest Vilcabamba 2025 is looking for artists committed to our goals and values.

We invite creators from various disciplines to participate and contribute their works and knowledge to this festival, which will celebrate the harmony between humanity and nature.

Artistic Goals

Integrate presentations that fuse ancestral and modern traditions

Promoting the connection between spiritual and cultural well-being through performances that combine dance, music and traditional artistic expressions with contemporary artistic expressions.

Develop collaborative art spaces focused on collective well-being.

Creations that highlight the different practices and alternatives to achieve and maintain well-being.

Promote ecological and global awareness

Options that explore themes of sustainability, environmental regeneration, and the connection between nature and human well-being, using different forms of artistic expression as a medium.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ARTISTS APPLYING TO WELLNESS FEST 2025

 

The organization of the Wellness Fest 2025 is a non-profit citizen collective, which carries out the organization in continuity with the principles of the first Wellness Fest (2021).

Artists who complete the Application Form will be contacted by the volunteer team in cases where participation is approved.

We are looking for varied artistic expressions that reflect and explore both traditional and contemporary areas of art in line with the central axis of the 2025 edition of the Wellness Fest and Our principles.

We have a variety of spaces available (stages, green areas, classrooms, auditorium) for the presentation of your artistic work.

Participation options for the Vilcabamba Wellness Fest 2025 (

  1. Music: Live music (bands, soloists), minstrumental music (soloists or groups), melectronic music (DJs, live sets), cgold and assemblies, others.

  2. Dance: Contemporary dance, dtraditional or folkloric dance, dEthnic and ritual performance (including indigenous dances), durban dance (hip-hop, breakdance, etc.), bclassic or modern allet, others.

  3. Theatre and Performing Arts: Theatre (short plays, monologues, experimental theatre), performances of bodily expression or pantomime, tpuppet theater or marionette theater, cCircus and circus arts (juggling, acrobatics), itheatrical improvisation, others.

  4. Visual Arts: Art installations (ephemeral art, land art), andsculpture and assemblage (medium or small sized works for green areas or interiors), pinture and muralism (live or exhibitions), fphotography (thematic exhibitions), adigital and multimedia art (mapping, animation, augmented reality), others.

  5. Audiovisual Arts: Screenings of short films and documentaries, videa art and mapping, plive audiovisual performances, others.

  6. Literature and Oral Narration: Poetry recitals, nration of tales and legends, llive readings (narrative, poetic prose), others.

  7. Participatory and Collaborative Art: Pcollective culture or collaborative muralism,community building activities (sustainable art, mandala creation, etc.)

  8. Other Artistic Expressions: Interventions in green areas (interactive art with the environment),Sound art and acoustic experimentation, pwell-being and spiritual connection performances (e.g. circle dancing, collective rituals), others.

Other formats not contemplated that can enrich the festival and adapt to the environment. 

Our goal is to make your participation as valuable as possible by providing you with reward options that contribute to your professional development, visibility and personal well-being.

  1. Exposure and Visibility
    a. Promotion on our platforms: We will highlight the selected artists on our social media and website.
    b. Interviews: We will offer the opportunity for interviews with related media and/or influencers during the event.
    c. Special mentions: (during the presentations of each of the participating artists, all the participations of the other artists will be acknowledged in random order).
  2. Professional Photography and Videos: We will provide photos (kit of 3 photos) and a 35-second video of your presentations, which you can use in your portfolios or for your personal promotion.
  3. Access to Workshops and Activities: The selected artists will have access to all the workshops, talks and activities of the Wellness Fest and the Wellness Congress, which will be an excellent opportunity for their personal and professional growth.
  4. Networking: You will be able to expand and strengthen your network of contacts through networking sessions, where we will promote spaces for interaction with other artists, speakers and professionals, facilitating the creation of new collaborations.
  5. Sale of Products and Merchandising: You will be able to participate in a collective space free of charge during the day of your presentation to offer your merchandising (music, art or other products). The products offered must be the author's work.
  6. Certification and Accreditation: Participating artists will receive an official certificate from the Vilcabamba Wellness Fest organization.
  7. Local experiences in Vilcabamba: Selected artists will be able (upon prior registration, depending on availability) to participate in guided walks, horseback or bicycle rides, local experiences (such as therapies or visits to projects and ventures).



The organization of the Wellness Fest 2025 will NOT make any extra payments for any reason to the participating artists.
